The Gory Details

In the case of the Millponds the available time for playing is about three hours or 180 minutes. Past experience shows that playing a board takes at least 10 minutes, so we have time for at most 18 boards. With two boards per round we can play 9 rounds which implies 9 tables (36 players). Given No 5, this is probably pushing it too hard, so it is more realistic to have 8 tables (32 players)

It is expected that there will be a few absences each time, so currently Millponds is limited to 40 players.
